New game · from the Netherlands
Sudoku that grows beyond a single grid.
Sudoku Shogun starts with the Sudoku you know and takes it further: puzzles that expand grid by grid, a giant 57×57 layout, daily puzzles and a 60-second Speed mode. Free in your browser, no ads, no account.

Five ways to play
Classic Sudoku
Easy, Medium or Hard on a familiar 9×9 grid, with pencil notes, check, undo and redo.
Expand
Solve a grid, then choose a corner for the next one. Each new grid shares a corner cell with an existing grid, so your puzzle grows. Some corners get blocked, so your route matters.
Samusamu
A 57×57 layout of 21 grids. Complete the 20 outer grids to unlock the Middle, the final puzzle. Zoom out for the whole layout, zoom in to focus on one grid.
Daily and weekly
Three daily puzzles and a weekly Samusamu, the same for everyone, with an archive.
Speed
Find the missing digit in a row, column or box. A round starts at 60 seconds.

The studio
Built step by step.
I’m Pepijn ter Heide. I make Shisaku’s games and software from the Netherlands, and Sudoku Shogun is the first. The web version is playable now, Android is next and iPhone follows.
Shisaku (試作) is Japanese for making a trial piece: build something, try it, refine it. That is how I work.
Shisaku may grow beyond games later. For now the focus is one product, done properly.
